The Direct Path

Ramana Maharshi taught the direct path to Self-realization. Unlike other paths that may require many steps, practices, or external aids, self-inquiry goes straight to the source. One asks "Who am I?" and traces the "I" thought directly to the Self.
This directness is both the strength and the challenge of the path. It requires no preparation, no prerequisites, no external aids. But it also requires complete sincerity and persistence. One must be willing to go directly to the source, without detours or distractions.
The direct path is available to all, but not all are ready for it. Those who are ready will find it the simplest and most effective path. For those who are not ready, other paths may be necessary as preparation. But ultimately, all paths lead to the same goal - the Self.
